LIOZ : Lisbon Aparthotel

Located on the riverfront at Campo das Cebolas, LIOZ was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of Lisbon’s architectural identity. The project takes its name from the limestone that has shaped much of the city, using it as a starting point to define both material and atmosphere.
The brief called for a series of serviced apartments that felt connected to their surroundings while offering the comfort and clarity expected from a modern hospitality space. The design response focused on creating a balance between permanence and lightness, combining natural stone, wood, and soft textiles to bring depth without excess. Developed in collaboration with Reabilita, Portuguese craftsmanship played a central role in the execution of bespoke elements, ensuring a consistent material language throughout the interiors. The project comprises 12 serviced apartments.
The result is a collection of spaces that feel calm, grounded, and closely tied to Lisbon, offering a contemporary stay that reflects the character of the city without relying on clichés.
